WHAT IS EYECARE/OPTOMETRY?
Optometrists will oversee the improvement and correction of vision.
Signs of ocular disease are often detected. Prescriptions may be filled on premises including eyeglasses, adjustments and lens replacements.

Harvard Med School indicated research was found that older adults with vision problems have a higher prevalence of dementia than those without.
ROUTINE EYE EXAMS SHOULD BE DONE ANNUALLY FOR:
- Anyone who has had related optical surgeries
- Residents who have prescribed eyeglasses
- Seniors who have had deterioration in sight
- Anyone who has had cataracts removed
